Kenads Printers, Doing Our Bit For The Environment.
Over recent years we have implemented many changes to reduce our effects on global warming and our environment. We only use FSC approved papers from sustainable sources unless a certain product is requested, we recycle as much as possible, we only use vegetable based inks on our printing presses and now all our platemaking is chemistry free. In fact we do all this as standard without the need to spend thousands on applying to use special logos. Caring for our environment should start in the heart not in the wallet.
In the office wherever possible we use a PDF proof instead of running out hard copy proof and posting them out. Estimates are emailed or faxed directly from our computers.
To Help The Environment We Do The Following.
Waste paper is sent for recycling
All old ink tins are recycled
Old printing plates are recycled
Soiled wipes are recycled
We use vegetable based inks
Postal waste is shredded for packaging
All hazardous waste is disposed of by a certified waste company
Wherever possible we use either FSC or recycled papers
The only hazardous gas emitted from Kenads,
Is from our hard working staff!!
